Updates on the Singer sewing machine cabinet. Ran into some issues with the veneer, which was expected, but the mold was not. Ended up stripping more veneer then expected, but all is good. At the point where the drawers are 90 % done and the table tops about 75%. Have to replace veneer on most of the tops and have replaced, or in the process of replacing, the small pieces of veneer that are missing. A long and tedious process.
Finally getting closer to the end. The drawers and the components associated with them are stained. Next id a coat of clear grain filler, then 2 coats of sealer, 5 coats of clear lacquer then a buff job that will make this look like a mirror. The tops are still in the process of getting their veneer replaced but will be completed shortly.
